Our Digital Marketing Director will own our Digital Marketing strategy and execution. A large portion of the focus will be owning the relationships with our marketing agencies, providing strategic leadership, and managing our budget for paid search, paid social and other paid marketing channels including campaign planning, launch, optimization and reporting. This role will be based in Salt Lake City, UT. **Responsibilities** - Lead end-to-end acquisition campaign strategy, planning, launch, optimization & performance measurement across digital channels, with a focus on hands-on-keyboard execution for paid search, display retargeting, and paid social - Oversee budgeting, forecasting & reporting: Manage annual budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs - Maintain constant level of optimization by constantly seeking optimization and growth through performance analysis, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, creative partnership, landing page optimization and more - Manage agency performance by leading external agency relationship for key channels including paid search, organic search/SEO, affiliates, remarketing, social media, and display retargeting - Review agency reports and run internal reports to monitor performance and seek improvement opportunities - Develop bidding strategies in key channels to maximize user acquisition at scale - Identify new channels of opportunity to invest and find incremental user growth with strong ROI - Analyze and optimize channel performance on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets or exceeds targets; present results to broader leadership and the team - Liaise with designers, copy writers, and creative agencies to generate content and new assets to deploy in our marketing channels, organically, and on our site - Work with designers to execute emails, tie in broader editorial calendar and set up for deployment, as well as reporting - Own the customer database, creating custom segments for email campaigns and leading customer acquisition strategies - Own our digital tagging and tracking infrastructure and QA process - Drive other tasks in the marketing space, given our startup nature **Qualifications** - A minimum of 3 years of relevant paid marketing experience, preferably ecommerce or retail, with a proven track record in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth - Proven results and experience managing a six-figure digital advertising budget - Exceptional understanding of all aspects of digital marketing and analytics, especially paid search, natural search, affiliate, display, retargeting, email and social - Exceptional analytical skills: expert in excel, Google Analytics, and third-party ad management platforms - Highly adept at extracting and articulating insights from data to drive action - Experience in email marketing and platform email execution (e.g., mailchimp, klaviyo, etc.) - Strong communicator, both written and verbal - Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup work environment **Desired** - Excel expert - Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and other web metric systems - Experience in ecommerce at a digitally native brand **What We Offer** - Competitive pay - Work-hard, play-hard office atmosphere - Healthcare coverage - Bonus program - Flexible hours - Outdoor company activities - Generous PTO and work / life integration **[Submit your resume](**
